It was the “incompetence of China”, and nothing else, that did this mass Worldwide killing!

Doing what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy – that’s how little kids think. Unfortunately, a lot of so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs, still think that way – which is why things are so screwed up.

The doctors had all sorts of arrangements for what to do if things went badly wrong. The bad moment came when it was 50-50 whether they were going to have to put a tube down my windpipe. It was a tough old moment, I won’t deny it. They had a strategy to deal with a ‘death of Stalin-type’ scenario.

It’s like waking up from a bad dream going into a nightmare day after day. I want everybody to stop harassing me, because this is cyberbullying to me and it’s gone way out of hand.

Whatever it is, coronavirus has made the mighty kneel and brought the world to a halt like nothing else could. Our minds are still racing back and forth, longing for a return to “normality”, trying to stitch our future to our past and refusing to acknowledge the rupture. But the rupture exists. And in the midst of this terrible despair, it offers us a chance to rethink the doomsday machine we have built for ourselves. Nothing could be worse than a return to normality.
Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next.
We can choose to walk through it, dragging the carcasses of our prejudice and hatred, our avarice, our data banks and dead ideas, our dead rivers and smoky skies behind us. Or we can walk through lightly, with little luggage, ready to imagine another world. And ready to fight for it.

None of those keeping my Derek alive have ever made me feel it’s a chore, they want to win this as much as I want them to, but it must be so hard. He is still critically ill in intensive care, but where there is life there is hope. Thank you NHS from the bottom of my heart.

Disinfectant…it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs.
– Donald Trump
He called me a few days ago, I will tell you, he sounded incredible. I was actually surprised, I thought he’d be like ‘ohh Donald’. He was ready to go. I’m very surprised to tell you this, it’s like the old Boris – tremendous energy, tremendous drive. I was very surprised.
– Donald Trump
I waited 16 days for a test result and this wasn’t unique. In fact, others waited longer and in some cases these were healthcare workers. I think we can all accept that is unacceptable and is scandalous and needs to be fixed.
