Othello, Act 5, Scene 2. Playing the role of prosecutor with his wife, Othello mentions his key piece of evidence to prove that Desdemona had an affair with Cassio. It’s the handkerchief Othello gave to his wife, and ended up with Cassio. Desdemona denies straight away that she gave it to Cassio, but Othello doesn’t believe her.
