To Kill a Mockingbird, Chapter 9. Atticus Finch to daughter Scout, on the importance of him taking on the defense of black man Tom Robinson and showing moral courage. With his strong sense of justice and fair play, Atticus believes that every person has the right to proper representation in a court of law.
