The Odyssey, Book 3, lines 222-225. Nestor relates to Telemachus the story of Agamemnon, murdered by his wife and her lover Aegisthus after his homecoming from the Trojan War. Agamemnon’s son subsequently took his revenge by killing Aegisthus. Nestor’s story is a warning to the young prince of the importance of protecting his home and family.
