The Odyssey, Book 17, lines 524-525. Odysseus says this to the suitors after he takes a blow on the back from a footstool thrown by Antinous and doesn’t flinch. The lines foreshadow the deadly showdown that will happen in Book 22 between Odysseus and Antinous.
