The Odyssey, Book 15, lines 44-48. Athena advises Telemachus that when he arrives in Ithaca he must first visit the swineherd Eumaeus, sending him to town to inform his mother that he has made it home safely from Pylos. The goddess assures him that loyal Eumaeus can be trusted – "as true to you as always."
