The Odyssey, Book 12, lines 319-320. Mutinous Eurylochus leads Odysseus’ men to oppose his decision not to land on Thrinacia, where sun god Helios keeps his cattle. Odysseus had cautioned his men to steer clear of the island. But Eurylochus urges them to do so, and Odysseus’ warnings go for naught and they follow the disloyal Eurolochus.
