Othello, Act 4, Scene 3. Desdemona and Emilia are after discussing marriage and fidelity and Desdemona has sung "The Willow Song" about a woman’s lost love and heartbreak. When Desdemona asks if her itchy eyes means she is going to cry, Emila makes the above reply, saying it doesn’t mean anything at all.
