Come, night; come, Romeo; come, thou day in night;
For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night
Whiter than new snow on a raven’s back.

– William Shakespeare

Romeo and Juliet, Act 3, Scene 2. Juliet uses a metaphor to compare Romeo to "day in night," as she impatiently waits for him to arrive so that they can consummate their marriage. Romeo’s shining whiteness of "new snow" is contrasted with the darkness of the night. The night is personified as having "wings" that will carry Romeo to her.
