Romeo and Juliet, Act 5, Scene 1. Romeo curses and challenges predetermined destiny, after being told of Juliet’s death by his servant Balthasar. Refusing to accept that she is dead, he will return to Verona to see for himself and to end up taking poison to be by her side. Here "stars" is used as a metaphor for fate.
