– William Shakespeare

Romeo and Juliet, Act 4, Scene 5. When Paris sees what appears to be Juliet dead on her bed, he is angry and disappointed that he has been robbed of his wedding day with her. Paris personifies morning by giving it a face. He doesn’t realize what the audience knows: his bride-to-be has taken a sleeping potion to escape the marriage.
