Othello, Act 3, Scene 4. On seeing Othello approach, Desdemona determines that she will not stop pleading for Cassio until her husband restores him to the job of lieutenant. She is unaware of and blind to the danger she is in, Iago having suggested something improper in her relationship with Cassio. It is an error of judgment that will cost her her life.
