Othello, Act 3, Scene 3. These lines comes from Emilia after she picks up the handkerchief that Desdemona has dropped. She intends to hand over the item to Iago out of loyalty to her husband. At this point the naively innocent Emilia feel no moral quibbles about her action, but will later be distraught over how it leads to a chain of events that end in Desdemona’s murder.
