Othello, Act 2, Scene 1. Iago is trying to convince Roderigo that Desdemona will soon leave Othello and may be having an affair with Cassio. The charming Cassio, he claims, has all the bad boy qualities that foolish young ladies look for in a man and Desdemona already likes him. Iago is trying to manipulate Roderigo, who is infatuated with Desdemona, and use him for his own purposes.
