King Lear, Act 2, Scene 2. The ruthless Duke of Cornwall flexes his power and humiliates the blunt speaking Kent (disguised as Caius) by ordering him to be put in the stocks. Sometimes Kent is too outspoken for his own good – and this turns out to be one of those occasions!
