Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 3. After her father’s attack on her relationship with Hamlet, Ophelia tries to defend how Hamlet expressed his love to her “in honourable fashion.” But Polonius, having none of it, twists her words and reject Hamlet’s romantic overtures as just “fashion.”
