Dracula, Chapter 21. Mina when she tries to kiss her husband Jonathan and draws away, seeing some of Dracula’s blood on his shirt. She speaks these words just after a vicious attack by the Count, who made her drink his blood. Poor Mina, believing that she is somehow unholy and cursed. But the virtuous Mina has nothing to feel guilty about, she did nothing to attract Dracula’s evil.
