The Canterbury Tales, The Nun’s Priest’s Tale. Saint Paul has written that we should take the fruit and let the chaff be still, the Nun’s Priest says. This is a reminder of the tale’s lesson of moral accountability, to take only truth and sincerity, and leave lies and flattery.
