In some of her most hateful and prejudicial language, the so-called pious Prioress accuses Jews of being under Satan’s influence even suggests some sort of festering corruption by referring to that influence as a warp’s nest (metaphor). But it is the Prioress herself who is the corruption within her Christian community.
