The Canterbury Tales, The Knight’s Tale. In the midst of the continuing strife between Palamon and Arcite, Duke Perotheus comes to Athens to visit his old friend Theseus. They have been friends since they were children and Perotheus’ visit is about to bring about a new twist in the Knight’s tale.
