A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Act 5, Scene 1. Lovers, poets and lunatics are all controlled by their imaginations, Theseus believes. He is referring to the lovers’ stories of the strange events of the previous night, which he doesn’t believe are true but are their own fantasies.
